Integrated Monitoring
Monitoring is the process of automated supervision whose basic functions are:
1. Detecting breakdowns
- by rigorous and systematic monitoring (automation) of the environment and systems
- by constant evaluation of the data collected
- by identification of events or abnormal states
2. Warning appropriate personnel
- by communicating relevant information to the right people, as soon as possible
3. Correcting
- by taking any corrective action necessary before the breakdown affects company operations
Monitoring is regarded as Integrated when it relates to various environments and that the collected data are treated in a coherent manner according to the contexts, the priorities and the needs of the company.
